Everton FC’s Toni Duggan has revealed how the therapeutic benefits of heat and contrast therapy delivered by the ProMOTION EV1 device, have helped with her recovery from a back injury.

Toni is the latest professional footballer to be an ambassador for the ProMOTION EV1 and speak about it publicly, after experiencing its benefits first-hand.

Following a period of recurring back pain Toni used the EV1 to apply the therapeutic effects of heat to her lower back, giving her the advantage she needs to stay at the top of her game.

“We’ve had some long travel journeys to London – four hours or so – and you get a strap with it, so I put it on my back so it’s always targeting that area.”

“How you prepare for the next game and those marginal gains; every bit counts, especially in elite football,” says Toni.  “At the top level, they’re the bits that can make the difference.

“As a professional at the top of your game, you have to look at things around the game that can help you improve and be ready for the next game.

Toni Duggan is one of the biggest names in women’s football and has been a large part of the success of England’s Lionesses. She returned to Everton last summer signing a two-year deal, following stints at Atletico Madrid, Barcelona and Manchester City.
